The Early Childhood Education option centers on the developmental stages of children from birth to age 5. As a student in this program, you will gain a deeper understanding of the importance of building relationships with children. You will observe and document their growth, craft age-appropriate curricula, and evaluate the effectiveness of your teaching plans.
Career Opportunities
The Early Childhood Education option prepares you for a role as an early childhood educator, and it culminates in a 270-hour practicum within a high-quality, early childhood classroom.
Beyond preparing you for a teaching career, this option also opens doors to diverse professional opportunities outside the traditional classroom setting. You’ll be well-prepared for roles that involve working with young children and their families.
