    Minimum requirements

     

    Minimum requirements include a 3.0 undergraduate G.P.A., and a score greater than 1000 on the verbal plus quantitative portions of the G.R.E. Students admitted into the program usually have a GPA greater than 3.30. If a student falls below 1000 on the G.R.E., or a 3.0 G.P.A., he/she will have to seek special probationary admission from the department graduate committee. Students with lower G.P.A.'s and G.R.E. scores will have to submit written evidence demonstrating that they can complete graduate work. Students who have not taken undergraduate human development or statistics courses may be asked to make up deficiencies before being admitted into the graduate program.
