Self Selected Activities
Teachers plan a variety of activities from which the children can select. These activities are designed to facilitate a number of areas of development (i.e. cognitive, social, physical) as well as helping children make decisions and cooperate with others while functioning independently.

Snack
In addition to meeting children's nutrient needs, this is a time to practice social skills and to learn behaviors related to eating meals in a group of peers.

Class Meetings
Children learn to function as a large group and to follow the teachers' lead in activities such as discussion of what the class is learning about, rules, community or listening to stories, moving to music or playing games in which the entire group participates.

Small Groups
Children work with a few peers and a teacher on a teacher planned and directed activity.

Outdoor Time or Indoor Large Motor Activities
This time is designed to provide children opportunities for developing large motor and social skills.
Children arrive at 9:00am for the morning session and begin leaving by 11:20am. We expect all children to be picked up by 11:30am. The afternoon children arrive at 1:00pm and begin leaving at 3:20pm. We expect all children to be picked up by 3:30pm.
